Settler rabbis: Jewish law permits Qana carnage

The Yesha Rabbinical Council announced in response to an IDF attack in Kfar Qanna that “according to Jewish law, during a time of battle and war, there is no such term as ‘innocents’ of the enemy.”

“All of the discussions on Christian morality are weakening the spirit of the army and the nation and are costing us in the blood of our soldiers and civilians,” the statement said.

["Yesha" is the Hebrew acronym for "Judea, Samaria and Gaza" -- the occupied West Bank, and Gaza Strip]

What is not mentioned is that they withdraw in defeat….
The so-called “most powerful military in the Middle East” were sent backing by a bunch of ill-armed resistance fighters.

The Israeli army has completed its withdrawal from southern Lebanon, Israeli security sources have said.

Israeli security sources said that the last Israeli tanks and troops left through the border post of Zarit - close to where two Israeli soldiers were abducted by Hezbollah fighters in a cross-border raid on July 12 - early on Sunday.

The final phase of the withdrawal began late on Saturday, just before Yom Kippur - the holiest day in the Jewish calendar - which started at dusk on Sunday.
