Interesting statement indeed, but will this prediction come true?

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad launched a new verbal attack against Israel, saying he believed it would soon collapse, Iran’s state media reported.

Ahmadinejad, who has sparked international outcry by referring to the killing of six mln Jews in World War Two as a “myth” and calling for Israel to be “wiped off the map,” made the comments in a speech in the southern province of Khuzestan.

“I’m sure that soon we will observe the collapse of the ‘Zionist’ regime (Israel),” the official IRNA news agency quoted him as saying, without elaborating.

“The Holocaust was fabricated by the West in order to reach its goals,” state television quoted him as saying.
